Review Oil Price for 1 year for what?

January 31, 2007

Najib: No cut in fuel prices yet

PUTRAJAYA: The Government does not plan to lower petrol prices just yet.

According to Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, the Government needed to monitor the world oil prices for at least one year before making any decision.

“We will review the oil price, but a review does not automatically mean that we will reduce the price. That decision will be for the Cabinet to make,” he told reporters after chairing the National Mineral Council meeting here yesterday.

Can you believe this? review for 1 year? Other countries already lowered their fuel price few times now, and Najib got the nerves to tell us this. Hey Batu Talam voters, how do you all feel now?

Did they review for 1 year before they decided to built the new RM400 million Istana Negara, or “lease” the luxury jet?

Abdullah only got this to say on this issue,

“It’s good to keep on monitoring prices,” he said.(via The Star)

What is so good about it? Its getting harder and harder for me to understand Abdullah, between us, one must be getting dumber!

Luxury Jet for Abdullah is TRUE

January 30, 2007

“Even bloggers or those who maintain websites use this opportunity to create stories. Lies after lies are being told. To them, everything is not right, everything is not good. “

This is what Abdullah said about us, he hate loves the Internet as you can see.

But KMU & Malaysia Today did us proud by telling us the news about the RM200 million luxury jet last Friday. You will never get to know about this if they didn’t publish the news, the mainstream media won’t say anything. But with websites & blogs, Abdullah have to explain now. Explain he did, but its another classic Abdullah style explanation.

Elaborating, Abdullah said: “The aircraft belongs to Penerbangan Malaysia Berhad; it was (bought with) their money. We just leased it like how MAS (Malaysia Airlines) leases aircraft from them.”(from Bernama)

Who is he fooling? PMB’s money? Khazanah National Berhad, the investment holding arm of the Government, owns PMB. So, their money = government money, no? Now guess who is Khazanah’s Chairman? Abdullah.

“Why do we (the government) have to buy aircraft? If we buy, we have to undertake repairs and expend on many other things.

“If is preferable to lease, and when there are repairs to be made, the lessor has to provide a replacement aircraft for our use,” he said.

Abdullah pointed out that Penerbangan Malaysia stood to gain from the lease, just as it earned from the lease of aircraft to MAS.(from Bernama)

And about leasing, do you believe that leasing will be cheaper than buying? Why don’t Abdullah give us a number? Anyway, who wants to know about leasing is better, we want to know WHY do you need one when you already have enough jets (a Boeing Business Jet, a Bombardier Global Express, a Dassault Falcon 900B and a Fokker F-28) to fly you for vacation.

PMB stood to gain? how? by leasing the jet back to the government? Someone please help me to understand him.

Now that we know Abdullah can make quick decisions, can Abdullah stop the monitoring and lower the fuel price like other countries now?

The Internet told you Abdullah got a new yacht as well, the Turkish newspaper have not retract or apologise till date and Abdullah didn’t sue them either. So i believe its true, what say you?

I bet Abdullah hate love the Internet even more now!

Rocky, NST & Subjudice rules

January 29, 2007

[Update]

The Star report was inaccurate, Rocky do not have to remove any articles, yet.

Here is the joint statement of Rocky & NSTP taken from Rocky’s Bru:

“That the parties agree to henceforth not publish any article, comment or post regarding the dispute presently before the High Court in this action that may be regarded as sub judice or that may prejudice the fair trial of the action.”

Blogger to remove 48 articles

KUALA LUMPUR: Blogger Ahiruddin Atan has agreed to immediately remove 48 articles cited in the New Straits Times libel suit against him to avoid prejudicing the trial.

While Rocky can remove those articles & comments, the NST won’t be able to retract those exclusive interviews & reports(view it here & here) printed in the newspaper now don’t they?

Denmark House. I’m returning to the High Court tomorrow, Monday the 29th, at 9 am, where Edmund Bon, my lawyer, will inform the learned Judge of my position with regards to comments by readers made on this blog (in respect of my postings of 18 and 24 January) which, according to lawyers of the Plaintiffs last Thursday, may be seen as prejudicing the case.

Read here my account on the hearing last Thursday.
Wish me luck, quietly, as I have to decline comments for now.

Go get them, good luck!

Samy Vellu To Jail Himself

January 26, 2007

Cabinet says toll agreements to remain secret

KUALA LUMPUR (Jan 25, 2007): The Cabinet is not prepared to make public the toll agreements inked between the government and highway concessionaires, says Works Minister Datuk Seri S.Samy Vellu.

“I have also suggested that the Cabinet take appropriate action against the person (or persons) who had stolen and exhibited an agreement. The agreement is solely between the government and the company and it is a secret document,” said Samy, adding that he brought up the matter at the Cabinet meeting on Wednesday.

Hello Samy Vellu, you forgot you showed it to Lim Kit Siang already? Habis la you…lucky you Lim Kit Siang denied it. But you said you did, so you still habis.

Ayoyo…I think you need to write another poem for Abdullah to save your ass.

New Yacht, New Plane?

January 26, 2007

Now i’m not telling you this, according to mykmu.net Abdullah have purchased a new plane, VIP ACJ 319 of Airbus, worth RM200 million. After a yacht worth RM30 million, now this? That’s crazy if this is true.

If you’re into cars, a Ferrari Enzo is priced at around RM9 Million, so you can buy 20 out of 400 made.

Not only his son is rich, our PM also damn freaking rich! But i’m not telling you this.

Eh Najib, you think you can tell Abdullah to change his lifestyle?

Now you go read a special report by Malaysia Today: Old Man, New Toys

Then you go and read The Star:

He, however, said the international community needed to do much more to reduce the huge disparities in wealth, power and knowledge among the peoples of the world.

Wanna puke again…

Abdullah must be responsible as well

January 24, 2007

Bloggers must be responsible

Bloggers must be responsible for what they write on the Internet as there are laws on defamation and sedition, Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi said.

The Prime Minister said these laws were enforceable and bloggers must bear in mind that they could not hide or take advantage of the Internet to do something that was against the law.

Read this, bloggers, ANYONE can sue you now. But Abdullah, just what Jeff Ooi & Rocky did on the Internet to get sued? Do you know? Do you surf the Internet? Do you understand blogging? Do you understand us?

He said bloggers, just like newspaper journalists, must be responsible for what they wrote or risk facing legal action from others.

Wow, bloggers are journalist now, i wanna get media pass for 2007 F1, i’m honored. NOT, you just want to control us as we offer the public news and information that mainstream media don’t dare to print for free! For example, your RM30 million yacht, your extended vacation in Perth and so many more.

He raised the question of “what was freedom without responsibility,” saying that laws must be respected.

Responsibility? Do you even know the meaning of that word? What’s your responsibilities then, can’t remember? Let me google it.

Here you go!(click pic for full view)

The bloggers rallied behind the 2 man under the Bloggers United movement, they vowed to walk with them over this.

And now they’re setting up legal fund for bloggers, now bloggers have financial assistance as well.
